My first day of college. So it didn’t go as I always thought it would go. I always pictured myself walking around giving everyone the “pointing finger head nod” Heyyyy how you doin? And of course get proposed to once at institute. I did neither. Not that im really complaining. I think the pointing finger head nod went out a while ago..and well the second is an obvious no no. My institute class is full of RM’s and married girls..or girls who are engaged or they r picking up their RM boyfriend from the airport..TODAY..haha. Except for of course Cody and myself, and we lovingly refer to ourselves as freshman LOSERS(thats what the L is for in the picture haha. Picture to prove it. ed around today that I even higlighted my path with markers. Haha.If that didn’t turn on the neon flashing sign above my head that said FRESHMAN I don’t know what else would. This is definitley what you would expect from UNLV…im pretty sure I will come home smelling like an ash tray everyday (yes I counted, I passed 21ppl smoking) one of my professors already used to the F word. Haha Its just..great. sigh. Haha All joking aside I really do think im going to like this school. The institute is amazing and I am glad I get to start my day with it every day. YES everyday…im taking two institute classes now…first half of book of mormon and The teachings of the prophet Joseph Smith. It is such a good way to start off the day…and this coming from a girl that complained EVERYDAY about getting up for seminary..of course now I don’t have to get up so dang flippin early. One comforting thing too, football players are just as dumb in college. Ok ok not all football players are dumb I didn’t mean to sterotype, today as I was sitting in my history class next to the finest speciman of man that has ever walked planet earth..next to david beckam of course… opened his mouth. Oh well atleast he still is eye candy. Ha oh yes and he plays for UNLV football. Anyway all in all my first day of college was pretty good. :DOh yeah and here are some pics from this last week

This is a goofy picture of 6 0f the seniors that just graduated in my ward and our bishop..we are doing vanessa's rogue squirl face which is a story all in itself. Anyway our wonderful bishop YM and YW leaders put on this amazing dinner/program for us and we can came away totally feeling the love and the spirit. I love all of these kids with all my heart. :D

I am glad you are doing well. It is always a little overwhelming at first but it gets better. And never under-estimate the finger-point and head nod trick. That's how I got Dave! j/k :)
Kayla! I'm not going to lie I totally blog stalked you! Your blog is so cute! I must say going to college during the day sounds a lot better then going at night like I did, at least you have kids your age when I went they where all 50 year olds. NASTY no eye candy at all....
