Let's Hear it for the Parental Unit

As you all know, I wasn't really dropped off at the door step my a stork (even though thats the story I choose to believe)
Nope I share genetic material with two individuals..
They are the lovely Jerry and Shauna Tippetts

Jerry Tippetts (aka Dad)

My Dad is the best..lets just get that out there to begin with.
Yes this is a picture of him doing a keg stand..hes just bad A like that.
My dad is the best guy I know.
He puts "Kr8r" as his liscense plate and it becomes epic..
Everything he does becomes epic..(like his tooth story)..because he is just an epic kind of guy.
I have been able to convince one of my dates that my dad was in the mexican mafia (lets clear this up..he is not)
My dad is my shoulder to cry on. I dont mean to get mushy..but my daddy is always there for me.
When I played soccer..if you asked my dad..I was the MVP..no team could function with out me. He showed up faithfully to every game yelling "Go Kayla"..even that is epic now.
Actually if you talk to my dad I'm the MVP at everything..when really..I fail a lot.
I think I could manage to count the times my dad has REALLY gotten mad at me on my left hand (not my right..remember the unfortunate accident when I lost my pinky?..you dont?)..and that is saying something considering all the stupid things I have done.
My dad is a handy man. Dad can you please teach my husband everything you know? I really doubt he is going to come with that knowledge.
My dad waltzs with me in the kitchen
My dad is a worthy priesthood holder and I am so grateful that, in times of need I have been able to be blessed by that.
My dad has always provided for my family, and made sure we had the best of everything.
My dad is quirky, but he is one of the most accepting people I know and I am proud to say that he is my dad. Thanks Dad, I love you!
P.S.- thanks for the tan skin..people are jealous!

Shauna Tippetts (my mother..duh!)

Oh mother..how I love thee.
My mom is the best.
Growing up..I always felt like I had the best of everything..I was never made to feel guilty about how expensive playing club soccer was..I always had characters on my shirt..I went on field trips..had amazing birthday partiesext. My mom played a huge role in this..and I know its cause she loves me.
My mom is so sensitive to others feelings..I would hope that is something I could pick up from her.
Sure we all love to tease my mom, and she is always a good sport about it.
My mom is the lady that I want to take wedding dress shopping with.
My mom went to every high school soccer game I had..just so I didnt have to ride that stupid bus back..one time we even had to play Liberty..and that is far. Plus it was raining.
My mom is the best shopper..I know she hates to be dragged to store after store..but she always does it and she even holds my things.
If it wasn't for my mom I wouldnt be the person I am today.
Sometimes I wonder if I wasn't raised in the gospel...would I have the desire to seek it out and accept it? I dont know that I would..I would hope so..and that is exactly what my mom did.
My mom thinks I'm funny..which really helps.
When I drive home from school..my mom will stay on the phone with me almost the whole time because she knows I hate that drive after a while.
My mom often went on last minute runs to office depot because I decided to wait until the last minute to do my project.
My mom is completely selfless and always puts me first..I am grateful for that..and ashamed that I have taken such a great advantage of it.
When we went to disneyland for my birthday recently..I was content just to be there but my mom went above and beyond to make sure my 20th birthday was special. (I'm spoiled I know)
Mom I love you and I'm sorry if I don't tell you enough.
