So today at work, while I was posted at the lazy river these two gentlemen floated on by and were like "heeeeyyy your like the lifeguard from the Sandlot"..ha.

So the rest of the day every time theyd see me theyd be like "hey can you save me and then we can make out?"

Um. No. but thanks.

Oh the joys of working at the pool on the strip...

Speaking of my pool...

Its pretty legit.

Beside the fact that people are already drunk (or still drunk) at 10:30 in the morning.

It can be a real blast...

Especially since I like to people watch

For example:

Yesterday I was sitting in a chair by the wave pool when I noticed these two loud "IM SO PUMPED TO BE IN VEGAS DUDE...PARRRTAYYYY" dudes asking these two ladies why they were in Vegas.

One girl was pretty wasted and was kinda all over these two guys...two strangers.

First she like puts her arms up around the white buff guys neck and you can see him tense up cause he is kinda freaked out.

Now is black buff buddy was diggin her, so she starts massaging his back...in the wave pool...3 minutes after she has met him..

Next thing you know they are like hugging and stuff

His white buff friends eyes were huge with surprise.. so after the girl goes under water you can see the white dude ask the black dude if hes cool, which he obviously replies he is.

So white buddy leaves black buddy to get this chick..

Well she is alllllll over him and then he tries to kiss her..

Her body language totally changed and was kinda pullin away and stuff

I was sitting in my chair laughing so hard

I promise I was still guarding, but people are so weird...I mean really weird.

ANYWAY.

Other than that my job is cool I have multiple pools I can work at, which helps change it up.

My coworkers are funny.

I get to be in the water/sun every day. So awesome.

Europeans love to come to Vegas in October.

But I dont like guests sometimes.

They hate lifeguards.

But I dont understand why they feel the need to STAND in the lazy river drinking, i mean whats the point?

Or why because they are from California we will bend the rules for them being in the wave pool...."OHHH thats right your from california, let me go get the special california wrist band..no."

Or when I get guests who ask me "hey can I blow your whistle, just once". No sir.

Im also really glad that the male lifeguards are pretty protective.

Win.

OTHER HAPS:

I went to disneyland

And the beach

I went and saw the Lion King..

It was UH-MAY-ZING. We also had amazing seats so that helped.

Attended two great friends wedding reception.
