For those of you who dont know...its official, the first missionary from my era is leaving. Ok Ok that is sorta a lie...Josh left months ago...but he moved so it doesnt count. Eldon Nelson is leaving good ol Las Vegas Nevada to serve the lord in Washington.
And for some reason its a big deal to me. Eldon and I were never uber best friends and didnt sit on the phone for hours talking about life and its mysterys but thats ok. Its just a lot of my great memories...eldon was there. I always thought he was the coolest kid and no matter how much we teased him about it..he was original.
I think it just makes it more real that being a kid and chillin at bens is kinda over. Im going to miss all the times we all just sat on his couch..and talked...and laughed and did stupid things..
im going to miss when people are like wheres eldon? ohhh hes skate boarding...WHY? because its eldon...
This weekend is going to be interesting..a goodbye party for eldon...for this phase in our lives..
Washington wont be the same when Joey Dope hits town...i mean...Elder Joey Dope. Good luck Eldon.

man, i so know what you mean. i've had like 4 friends leave in the last 2 months and 3 or 4 more leave in the next two months. we all went to red robin over break and made a pact that as soon as all the boys are back in about 2.5 years, we're going to drink some freckled lemonade and eat some fries again. haha kinda lame i know, but it makes me feel better to hear them tell me that we'll still be friends haha.
